Murder in the Cathedral by T.S Eliot was written in June,
1935 for the Canterbury festival. It deals with the assassination of Archbishop
Thomas Becket, one of the greatest saints of England. He was murdered in his
own cathedral by 4 knights who claimed to be loyal to the king.
